Following Peter Senge’s philosophy that social equality and environment are business problems in today’s world. Foundation RDF was formed by EC, who wanted to make serious social contributions.

And with their in-depth corporate insight, they decided to make RDF function like a catalyst stirring change at the grassroots while also enabling the Rohingya society to engage proactively in the change process following the idea of Rohingya Driven Change and adopting the highest standard of governance.

From July 2016 RDF will be working on the subjects of humanitarian support, education for children, and livelihood for the youth, healthcare in rural villages, and women empowerment and sensitization of the privileged masses.

As it completes 10 years of catalyzing development, RDF will successfully reach out to over 50,000 beneficiaries across 13 Townships in Arakan.

A synergy of achieving highest SROI (social return on investment) by deploying best possible methodologies and technology, practicing and promoting Good Governance, linking business necessities with critical development indices and promoting Rohingya Driven Change is the approach that RDF works with.

RDF underscores the fact that helping is not simply a matter of dispersing money but of making a deep, long-term commitment and casting a hard eye on results.

With this model, the Foundation partners with emerging and committed organizations for various programs. It tries to build their capacity, training them to gradually sustain and scale up themselves and their activities.

It initially offers them the opportunity to reach their potential and progressively scale up and bear the entire weight themselves.

Formed in the year 2016, by EC with a philanthropic bent of mind, RDF finds innovative solutions to social issues in alignment with the business needs of companies and willingness of goodhearted individuals and institutions across the globe.
